I have around 15 t-shirts that  say full of funny jokes on them. One has a hippo that has a scarf and DJ glasses and says  “Hip-Hopotomas “. That’s my favorite one so far. When I first saw those t-shirts I said to my mom, “Can I have one please” and guess what she said NO!

Then everyday I would beg her for one.  And then one day we went to the mall (were the store was ) and my mom said you can pick three t-shirts that you wanted before.  Then I was like, “Yaaaaaaaay! I love you mom thank you , thank you, thank you !!!!”

And now I am still collecting them!!

When the announcement of John F Kennedy was killed my grandparents’ reaction was a big disappointment.  My grandmother started to cry because she was scared that we would go in the war again. Also she called everybody she knew to talk about what had happened to the president .

She was very scared because she had already suffered the war of 1939.  She also lost a lot of relatives because of the World War II (which was in 1939). After a few months my grandmother changed her ideas and went shopping  and buying allot of souvenirs of John F. Kennedy.

My favorite part  of soccer is scoring goals.  I like it because when you’re running you feel the wind blowing in you face and there’s nobody around you because they are all running after you.  I also like it because when you score a goal everybody on your team starts  screaming and yelling at you in a happy way.Also your team just comes running at you and hugging you and saying woo hoo great job !

My favorite equipment part is the t-shirt because  if you have a light colored shirt well you will not be very hot in your shirt.  But if you have a dark colored shirt you will be very hot in your shirt . My top ten soccer players are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo,  Wayne Rooney,  Kaka,  Xavi,  Didier Drogaba, Andres Iniesta,  Fernando Torres,  Steven Gerrard and Michael Essien.

In South Africa there is a Helicopter called the Puma.

My favorite animal is the puma and this helicopter is called the Puma.

When I first heard the word Ghost Train I first thought of ghosts because when I hear or read the word ghost I think of Halloween. Also I think of scary things and spooky things.

Before reading this story I looked at all the pictures and the first picture where Choon-yi siting on a mat with a paint well brush well that makes me think that she is poor or she is making money. I also see in the picture that Choon-yi is missing one of her arms. I wonder what happened to her arm ?

In the next picture I see Choon-yi on a boat, I think that Choon-yi is probably going somewhere maybe to see a relative or to go do something for someone.

Choon-yi and her father had a very good relationship together because in the book her father said that he loved his daughter no matter what happened .Choon-yi grows with her mother and father in South China.When Choon-yi was about 12 years old her father sailed to North America to go get a job to get money for his family.

Choon-yi’s challenges were that she had to paint the fire car . It was a challenge because Choon-yi didn’t know what a fire car looked like. So Choon-yi had to go on a fire car and see what it looks like. Also one of her challenges was that she had to go to the rail way and lay the painting in the middle of the rail way for her father.

Connection

Un the book Ghost train one of the connections is that if my dad died I would be very very sad and I would cry alot .like Choon-yi did.Also whwen my grandfather died my dad was very very sad and probably crieed alo like everybody else.

Animal Poll / Josee

If I could be an animal I would most like to be a Puma.

I would like to be a Puma because it’s my favorite animal and I like the Puma because it runs very, very fast!

Also I like how there habitat works and I also like to scare people a lot like they do but in a fast motion .

Also they have very sharp teeth and a cute and scary face that is very awsome !

I like the puma because it is black and I like the colour black.
